So your booked in for a pedicure.
What to expect post covid, when you are booked in for a pedicure.
As we reopen we have taken measures to make sure we are all safe coming back to work and that you our clients feel safe while having a treatment. Some of our shorter treatments ( File & Polish) are not available at the moment, as our minimum time requirement to make social distancing work is 30 mins. Please check out our menu for times and prices of treatments.
We have installed a sink just inside the door of the salon, so once you enter, you can wash your hands.
We have spaced out our stations so there is a good 2 metres between everyone, we have gone from using 12 nail stations and 5 pedi stations to using 5 nail stations and 3 pedi stations. We will monitor this and once we have been advised we will add more stations back in the mix, but for the first 5 weeks, this is how it will work. You can see from the pictures, we have adequate space.
We have placed out floor stickers as gentle reminders for us all to keep a safe distance from each other.
Your temperature will be taken and we will expect you to be wearing a mask.
We will all be wearing PPE gear for as long as it is recommended, gloves and aprons are changed between treatments, and we have provided a safe medical bin to dispose of this gear. Staff will be wearing masks or visors depending on the treatments provided.
You’ll notice a lot more disposable items in the salon, used once and either given to the client or binned.
Implements are sanitised and individually wrapped for each client.
We would ask you:
To not open and try on polishes or shellac, but ask your therapist to trial for you, or use the printed shade pictures to help you pick your colour before you come in.
The lavatory is only to be used for emergencies where possible, as staff will have to clean it down after each use, which will take time away from you treatment.
Thanks for reading, don’t forget your flip flips and please enjoy your treatment with us,
Anna + Team
